Job Title: Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager supports the mission and vision of the organization by planning, coordinating, and executing projects from start to finish. Working closely with the Executive Director and staff team, this role ensures project plans are clearly defined, all tasks have owners and stay on schedule, avoids scope expansion when possible, and ensures the purpose aligns with organizational values. The Project Manager brings clarity, structure, and follow-through to initiatives that support disciple-making and community-building efforts, while upholding core Christian values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution
With minimal oversight, must be able to:

  • Translate organizational priorities into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard.

  • Track progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and proactively address challenges.

  • Ensure projects remain aligned with mission, vision, and values throughout execution.

Team Coordination & Communication
Take the lead in ensuring all stakeholders are kept updated: 

  • Coordinate across staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure shared understanding of roles and expectations.

  • Regularly facilitate clear communication, follow-up, and accountability related to project tasks.

  • Support a collaborative, respectful team culture rooted in biblical values and servant leadership.

Systems & Workflow

  • Utilize and maintain project management tools and systems (e.g., Asana, Google Suite, Slack).

  • Help refine workflows and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Maintain documentation related to project plans, timelines, risk & mitigation plans, and outcomes.

Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management (experience across industries welcomed).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfort using or learning tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Asana, SquareSpace, social platforms, and similar systems.

  • Familiarity with EOS or similar frameworks is helpful but not required.

TERM DETAILS

  • W-2 Employee

  • Approximately 15 hours per week

  • Starting hourly rate: $25-30/hour (based on experience)

  • Primarily remote, with occasional in-person team meetings and an annual two-day team retreat
